Our Story

Every product in this store has been chosen for one reason — because we'd give it to our daughter.

Her name is Evie-May. She's the reason this store exists, and she's the reason we care so deeply about getting it right.

Evie-May has Angelman Syndrome — a rare neurological condition that affects her movement, balance and speech. She is non-verbal, full of joy, and one of the most communicative people we've ever met. She just communicates differently.

Like many parents of children with SEN, we spent years searching for toys and sensory tools that actually worked for Evie-May. Not just things that looked good on a website, but things that genuinely helped her — calmed her when she was overwhelmed, gave her hands something satisfying to do, helped her connect with the world around her in her own way.

We found some brilliant things. We also wasted a lot of money on things that didn't work, weren't safe, or fell apart within a week.

That experience is exactly why we built Evie-May Sensory.

Every product we stock has been reviewed through the lens of a parent who truly understands sensory needs. We don't list anything we wouldn't put in front of Evie-May ourselves. We think about textures, safety, durability, and whether something will actually hold a child's attention — not just look good in a photo.
